Duration: 3 Days (10 am to 5 pm with one hour lunch break)
Cost: $ 1499 + HST
On special request the workshop can be done on weekday nights or on weekends.
Prerequisite: Proficiency in AutoCAD software- Mechanical Design/Drafter or Engineer or Technical Background.
Overview
This course is designed to expand and enhance the student's ability to combine and apply Mechanical Desktop to Mechanical design/engineering projects. The course covers all of the basic functionality of Mechanical Desktop including Working 'with parts: Creating Profiles, Splines in Profiles, Advanced Part Techniques. Sculpting Tools: 3D Sweeps, Lofts and Drafts, Using Surfaces to Shape Solids. Design Variables: Equation in Dimensions, Table Driven Parts, Self Check. Assemblies: Working with Assemblies, Subassemblies. Creating Part Drawings: Advanced Views, Working with Dimensions, Tolerance Modeling. Assembly Drawings and Bills of Materials: Working with Scenes, Bills of Materials, Editing Part Data.
