CERTIFICATE PROGRAM IN ADOBE, MACROMEDIA, SOUND EDIT &  FINAL CUT PRO (MODULES OF DIGITAL MEDIA DESIGN)

The objective of the program is to enable the student to perform the following tasks:

. Know and understand forms of narrative as applied in game design, web design, and video
. Know the fundamentals of Linear (Traditional) and non Linear (Non-Traditional) narrative and story design

• Know and understand the design issues as related to greater interactivity between the user/client and server

• Design and build a media rich or convergence website

• Build a complex site using elements of 2D and 3D animation, digital tools, digital video, and high end editors
• Create interface designs for streaming content and web casting
. Create fully interactive, complex animations at the computational level in Flash using action scripting
. Use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and Macromedia's Fireworks to create design layers and content for import/export into 3D Studio Max
. Use expressions- comparison, mathematical, and compound
. Use and understand logic statements-If/then, case, loop

• Perform sound recording and sampling in a digital environment
